Captured by Hannah Jones

Hannah Jones is an artist and a photographer.  She earned a Bachelor's degree in the Fine Arts with a concentration in photography with a teaching license in 2004 from Old Dominion University, and has some graduate work completed through Virginia Commonwealth University.  She has experience photographing weddings, senior portraits, families and children.  Hannah takes an interest in her subjects and tries to capture their essence and tell their stories through her work.  She prefers to take a natural, photojournalistic approach when she is working.  In addition to working as a photographer, Hannah taught art at the high school level from 2004-2010.  She also enjoys painting and drawing and has created several pieces of commissioned artwork and murals.
